NVIDIA reported 87 billion dollars in data center revenue for its fiscal second quarter ending July 26 2026. Blackwell GPU shipments contributed 62 percent of that figure while Hopper remained the volume leader in deployed clusters. Gross margin for the segment reached 78 percent.
The company shipped 1.4 million Blackwell GPUs during the quarter with demand exceeding supply through the end of calendar 2026. Enterprise customers including Microsoft, Meta, and Oracle accounted for the majority of purchases.
NVIDIA has maintained sequential growth above 40 percent for six consecutive quarters. The company attributed continued strength to both training and inference workloads across hyperscale and sovereign AI projects.
Why this matters
The results confirm that AI capital expenditure remains resilient even as macroeconomic conditions tighten. NVIDIA's ecosystem lock-in through CUDA and networking products continues to deliver pricing power.
Investors will watch Blackwell supply ramp rates closely as AMD and custom silicon from hyperscalers attempt to capture share. NVIDIA guided to 95 billion dollars in data center revenue for the following quarter.
